When I was a kid, I wanted to be John Lennon.

Easy there kiddos, these are the best days of your lives. Slow down, shut up, and take it all in. Parental units will deplore you, peers will conform you, and society will deform you. Don't stress little cliches, you'll have a life outside of this cinder-blocked hell. Chalk dust does nothing for the complexion, but smog filled city air does. The people you meet shape who you are. Breakfast Club or not, we all must ingest this public education sometime.

"And these children that you spit on as they try to change their worlds;
are immune to your consultations, they are quite aware of what they are
going through." -David Bowie
